This is our main product because we focus on cultural exchange. The tour involve with cultural exchange directly to the community. It is a full day experience with Half day to Robben Island and the rest of time to be spent in the Township. It is essential that travelers purchase the 09:00am daily trip online ticket to enjoy the full day excursion. The trips to Robben Island last around three hours. Details are follows:
- Be there 30 minutes prior to departure
- 30 minutes boat trip,
- 1 hour for bus trip throughout Robben Island village,
- 1 hour for prison tour including Mandela Cell and
- 30 minutes boat trip back to the mainland.
Township tour is our main focus because of the opportunity to experiment cultural exchange program. The Township is the flip side of Robben Island prison. It was just another involuntary incarceration using the same tactics used at Robben Island. Out of various activities, guests focus more on cultural exchange visiting various community projects that target vulnerable people and empower them. Our visit could include Guga stebe in Langa to ship head famously known as “smily”, visit school in Gugulethu, Iliso care society and a local soup kitchen. Guests can help in the kitchen and distribute food to needy people of community. We highly advise lunch is an African restaurant at the township to experience tshisa nyama and local cuisine.
